Canyon Chimney Sweeps was established in 2000 by Ed Hake, a Montana native born in the Canyon where he created the business and ran it successfully—building up a customer base and trust in the business name.

In 2020, Ed passed the business on to Trae McInroe, army veteran and contractor experienced in commercial construction, renovations and home construction. Trae is a certified chimney sweep by the Chimney Safety Institute of America. His belief in quality assurance and craftmanship created an atmosphere where the safety of your home starts with the chimney. Integrity and hard work were crucial to Trae’s efforts in maintaining the customer base Ed built and building the business to include new clientele.

All the employees at Canyon Chimney Sweeps are considered family. Trae prioritizes family above all else. It has been fun the last few years including our customers in that family and taking time to ensure they feel that way as well.
