Gas Inspections
Annual Gas Fireplace inspections are a yearly maintenance task that should not be ignored. Inspect your gas fireplace at least once a year with a professional technician.
Service Description
Gas fireplace inspections begin with the visual assessment. Is my pilot light on? What is the size and color of the pilot flame? Is there any noise from the pilot light and is it excessive? How dirty is the logset? The next phase of assessment is the general appearance and condition. Do I have any cracked/broken logs? Is the burner or grate rusted? Is there a haze on the glass any rust in the firebox? Is there dust/dog hair behind the vents and covering the blower?
When is this Relevant?
